How I Organized a Type Poster
Essonnes Type Poster
This is a type poster to showcase the typeface, Essonnes. It was designed by James Todd in 1819. Each part if the poster is divided into colored rectangles and the type in them all have different type styles. I put a quote from Todd on this poster in bold letters because its the attention-grabber. The attribution is bold-italic, the name of the typeface is italic and white, and the alphabet and numbers are regular.
I made the all text in my posters different sizes and weights and added color. This poster ended up being my favorite of the ones I was working on.
